Forge Mission Statement: The paper that stands for democracy, student control, and the right to school spirit. We ask for the cooperation of the student body and faculty, who together make up our school democracy. We hope to make it the forum where students and faculty may meet for discussion of those matters that most concern our school community. May it serve its purpose to create, if it is possible, an even greater feeling of good fellowship and collective responsibility than has heretofore existed amongst the students of the Santa Barbara High School.

Olive and Gold, the SBHS yearbook, strives to provide a unique yearbook filled with the memories and stories created here at Santa Barbara High School. The tradition of the Olive and Gold Yearbook goes back to 1906 and continues to grow with each yearbook class. Our goal is to showcase our school's diversity throughout the student body, classes, clubs, sports, and academies. Each page is handcrafted, from the colors and text on the pages to the interviews written and pictures taken by our talented yearbook staff. We take pride in expressing what it’s truly like to ‘bleed olive and gold’. We work hard to squeeze it all together into one book, year after year.
